Description:  The CP SD 40 types were far too common on the Tier, and we even had the SD40F red barns here for a while. CEFX power, on the other hand, was not, despite a group of new GEs that showed on a fairly regular basis. The other power was not all that common on CP. This 10T is an exception, with an SD 45 body unit between a pair of CPs own, seen rolling 60 cars past Miller Beach Rd.

Title:  Barn on the bridge
Description:  A CP red barn leads train 165 over the high bridge and Wylie Creek with 94 cars. The D&H was noted in its later years for having a multitude of paint schemes, so much so that it was hard to find a train with a matched set of power. It was perhaps fitting that CP should take them over; they did not seem to match the sets either-this train has three units, three paint schemes. Or is it the D&H influence on CP that's showing??

Description:  A typically cloudy day in the Tier sXes the usual morning rail action at QD, where the Buffalo Runner leaves the Southern Tier Line. Train 166 is arrihing from Toronto, and will shortly roll throufh BD and across the Susquehanna River to CPs East Binghamton yard.
