Working it |
Description: |
Train 413 rolls north with a big train of 110 cars behind the usual mix of SDs, seen at Depot Hill Rd. This was a good spot for a photo, as it had good options on angle, it was pretty scenic, and was easy to get in and out of. |

Once a busy place |
Description: |
An 18 car northbound CP train passes by XO tower, where the D&H and B&M crossed and connected. Now the B&M yard is largely abandoned, and the D&H side has an intermodal ramp on it. Thirty years ago, it was a busier and vastly different scene. |

Scenic view from new bridge |
Description: |
After years of discussion, the Apalachin-Campville connector was built near exit 66 of NY 17, the Apalachin exit. It extended across the Susquehanna to reach NY 17C near Campville, allowing a view of the tracks not previously available. We see 11T behind a mix of 40s as it rolls 39 cars along the river, about 15 minutes from Binghamton. |
