There were two groups of power initially, from GATX and PLM(Precision Leasing Management). The PLM units were in this attractive blue scheme, and became known as "plums" to the local fans. Two of them lead a pair of CP units on 555, formerly PYRP, at BX, passing the Agway feed mill. |

A train is rolling...with apologies to the Eagles. The big game in town that day was a BUAB with NYSW and SOO power. It was over at QD downtown, waiting on a new crew. While we all milled around contemplating our chase, the radio announced that a BUME was about to go north out of East Binghamton. Getting out of the yard is a slow process, and I was able to get to BD ahead of the train, shooting its two recently arrived PLM units. |
