A yard job would go get the train later, when there was room to work it. The leader?? Used. CP never had any SD45s. The second unit is a rebuilt GP 9, the third unit is an ex MP SD40-2 that was originally one of their general service units and di not have dynamic brakes. A variety of power ran these trains over the years, including a wide variety of Alcos. By 2003 the Alcos were gone, but you could still find interesting power on the train.
