Title:  Into the shadows
Description:  I chased the coal train to Otego, where I caught it off the I 88 access at exit 12. The sun was getting low, and I was dodging shadows, just able to get one more shot of the northbound.

Southbound empty coal
Title:  Southbound empty coal
Description:  From time to time, NS would send coal to the D&H via Harrisburg. On CP these would be symbolled 8858 north and 8859 south, with varying symbols on NS, though Ive seen 87T and 88T used. Here we see one of the 8859 trains crossing "baby Tunkhannock" more properly known as Martins Creek Viaduct south of Kingsley PA, with a pair of UP leaders.
