Description:  The house at GR, the north end of the siding that started at Nineveh Jct, was always a pretty place to take a train photo. The homeowners have not disappointed today, with an array of pumpkins and a colorful stand of maples to highlight the passing of a set of yellowjackets on this northbound coal train.

Description:  A set of NYSW units, including a pair of new B 40s, has just pushed a northbound coal train up from Binghamton and is now getting set to roll back down the hill. NYSW used whatever was handy for pushers, and new high power road units were not exempt from this grueling service.

Description:  NYSW continued to aggressively pursue international container traffic, and Walter Rich was pretty successful at it. This is NYK 6, and eastbound move for NYK steamship lines, though there are some Hanjins on the head end of the 65 platform train. A pair of B 40s has the train headed for Starrucca and Jersey, rolling past the water plant and Willow Run Foods at Kirkwood.
