Description:  Guilford in its early years would buy anything that ran and was cheap. GE U boats didnt command a high resale value, and they picked up some from Conrail, such as this U33B.

Description:  MEBU with a mix of power only found on the D&H rolls 109 cars past BD as it makes its way into East Binghamton. The last two units, a pair of D&H GP39s, are the power for SU 2, which MEBU picked up at Afton.

Through the flowers
Title:  Through the flowers
Description:  BUME rolls past a field of flowers as it approaches Page Av crossing in west Endicott behind and ex Reading unit and an NS GE. The building in the distance was a plastic pipe manufacturer, and Conrail customer. The factory burned in a spectacular fire two days before Christmas that year, and they relocated the new plant to Waverly, with rail service on the Ithaca Branch.

Title:  Taking them back
Description:  An ABBU waits for a crew on the Buffalo Runner with a train of empty grain hoppers to go back to Buffalo, and eventually to the SOO for reload in Minneapolis. The B23 assigned to Conrail's WABH 11 sits in their yard, and to the left of the signal we see a derelict C 430.
