Pulling down for a meet |
Description: |
Though theres already one going on here. I had seen the southbound grain train after I had dropped off recycling in Siloam, and decided to take chase. I caught up to him here in Watts, where he was holding the main for an impending northbound, but also because the dodger, L 102, was working the yard, using the siding for head room. |

Pushing back |
Description: |
The L 102 dodger can spend a lot of time working at Pipelife, pulling emties and spotting loads. It was in the midst of one such move when I caught it as I approached Kenwood St crossing. |

Dodger in the pink |
Description: |
I heard the radio say the dodger was going to Gentry to change ends, so I waited, figuring I could at least see it, if not get a photo. There was still enough light in the sky to work a silhouette. To my great delight, the sky had picked up a swath of pink from the now departed sun hitting a cloud, giving this unusual scene. Three units have 11 cars in tow. |
