By now, that little boy must be pushing 30, and dad is probably a lot grayer-I know I am!! Hopefully, they both recall this otherwise gloomy day fondly. D&H and LV had an interchange train that operated via that route to Owego, then over the EL to Binghamton, alternately with LV power and D&H power.
