Sometimes if there were not enough cars for two trains, 558 and 270 would be combined out of Buffalo. Such is the case here, as the 105 car train has power for both of its components, 270s power ahead, with 558s two CP units trailing. We see it at East Hornell, where it is about to meet a hi-wide Conrail extra. |

D 22, the local that replaced SU 2, rolls north along NY 7 in Sanitaria Springs with an old GP 9 in bright red, along with a D&H painted GP 38-2. Even in its late days, the trains on the D&H sometimes didnt all match!! Today's effort has 16 cars in tow. |
