This unit must have come in off the Raritan Valley and was not able to be turned before going out to the shore. It does show the rear end configuration well. Note the first three cars of the train-they are ex Empire Builder cars acquired from BN, the first one still in its GN Big Sky garb. |

Looks like NKP 765 is doing most of the work as the engine and its tool cars pass Arden. Rather than take a lot of time to have the Berk back to Campbell Hall, turn, and return to Port Jervis, the train headed to Hoboken behind M&E Alcos, with the steamer returning behind this NJT unit. |
