Rolling in from Buffalo
Title:  Rolling in from Buffalo
Description:  BUEB rolls in past the DLW yard tower as it makes its way slowly into the yard, its 70 cars to be worked and put on trains for New England and the south. It was unusual to see a solid set of Guilford power, so this was something of an anomaly.

Youd never know it
Title:  Youd never know it
Description:  Spring is only a week in the future, but the winter wont quit. In fact, its not unusual to have snowfall well into April. This BUEB waits out a snow squall at QD, its crew undoubtedly anticipating somewhere warmer than an engine cab in the near future.

Must be a jet
Title:  Must be a jet
Description:  My notes dont show what train this is, but it was parked at Bevier St. At the time, JET 1 was the only train that did not yard at East Binghamton, so Im guessing this is JET 1 waiting on a crew. In a nice touch, the leader is one of the B&Ms last order of new power, GP40-2 303.

Thats a lot of power
Title:  Thats a lot of power
Description:  A side view of the train seen at a more head on angle elsewhere. I believe this is JET 1, which was typically overpowered, probably in hopes there would be enough units still running at the end of the trip to get it into the terminal.
