Its all a blur
Title:  Its all a blur
Description:  Not that the train is going that fast, its just the sun is gone and the remaining light is going. The H train passes the sign at Lanagan. At least we know where we are.

Last chance
Title:  Last chance
Description:  The light was about gone when the H train crossed under the Ark 59 bridge just north of Suplhur Springs, but there was enough to make a nice twilight shot along Butler Creek.

Fields of gold
Title:  Fields of gold
Description:  At the time of year where the sun is low, and the fields have all gone brown, the late day sun really turns everything gold, a wonderful mellow color that is just golden. A scene like this always brings to mind Stings song Fields of Gold. The only way to improve on that image is to put a train in it, which KCS was kind enough to do, with this 104 car H train behind three Belles. We see the train at the Goodman detector.

New bridge northbound
Title:  New bridge northbound
Description:  The northbound H train approaches the new overpass at Cheri Whitlock Dr. The bridge replaced a grade crossing that got backed up every time a train passed. Todays northbound is only 60 cars, but motorists will still be glad not to have to wait even for a short train. A pair of KCSM units lead.
