Title:
Making the swap
Description:
CP 1810 and Tioga Central 62 swap gas cars at Owego in TCs yard. The line at left is Conrail's ex EL Southern Tier Line. The through truss crosses Owego Creek. The Tioga Central unit is on the ex Lehigh Valley Auburn Branch, which left the LV main at Sayre, running alongside the EL from there to Owego. D&H and LV had an interchange train that operated via that route to Owego, then over the EL to Binghamton, alternately with LV power and D&H power. A lot of interesting units showed up on it, including the D&H sharks.

Title:
Yard Alcos
Description:
CP used a lot of different motive power to switch East Binghamton. This day it was a pair of RS 18u's, seen working at the north end. These two units would spend over a year here in various local duties.
