Description:  On Aug 19 1995, MILW 261 rana trip from Scranton to Syracuse. NYSW 142 was added on the head end at Chenango Bridge to make a doubleheader. Less well noted was E 9 2400 on the rear, seen her shortly after tying on.

Down the middle
Title:  Down the middle
Description:  A dinky blows-or actually, doesnt blow-through La Grange on the center track as it makes a high speed run for Aurora. La Grange, like many Chicago suburbs, had a whistle oridinance prohibiting trains from blowing for crossings. The trains were thick here during rush hour, not only commuters, but BN was not squamish about running big freights mixed in with the dinky parade, so you could just as easily be stepping in front of a 100 car coal train as a commuter. Its a wonder more people were not killed.

Description:  I caught this dinky crossing the IHB. How, I can't figure. You didn't hear the trains on the BN, since La Grange had a whistle ordinance. If you weren't looking at the bridge when the train hit it, you missed it. IHB trains ran at about 10 MPH, so were easy to get. The BN was a lot faster.

Description:  The commuter rush out of Union Station gets pretty intense, as trains departing are met by trains backing from the Zephyr Pit into the mostly(there are two though tracks on the east side) stub end station.
