Stopping here will keep the train from blocking several busy crossings on the siding, as well as setting the traffic lights on adjacent US 59 to flashing red. The line south of Cave Springs rolls along next to the road for about two miles down to the small community of Bunch, a grade crossing, a few houses and a couple of churches. About 1/2 mile before reaching the crossing at MP 271, the line rolls around a sweeping curve. The oil train comes around the curve, passing me in sweet light. |
