The line south of Cave Springs rolls along next to the road for about two miles down to the small community of Bunch, a grade crossing, a few houses and a couple of churches. About 1/2 mile before reaching the crossing at MP 271, the line rolls around a sweeping curve. The oil train comes around the curve, passing me in sweet light. |

I was at home working on some things, and heard a horn. I took off, getting through town-not the quickest thing-and headed south on US 59 toward Watts. I caught up to what turned out to be a soutbbound oil train with CP and NS power. Here it is at one of my new favorite spots north of Westville. |
