Power to head south
Title:  Power to head south
Description:  RPPY and PYRP ran with a mix of CSX and NS power south of Binghamton, though it was usually one or the other, and rarely mixed. This time its NS power, a representative example seen here at the fuel rack. Where else but Binghamton could you find EMD, GE, and Alco all coupled to each other??

Western power
Title:  Western power
Description:  UP run through trains often had CNW power, as they were the middle leg on the trip. By this time the writing was on the wall for the UP-CNW merger, so CNW units were becoming more common. I was glad I could get them while they were still around.
