This must have been a power balancing move on 167. The train was only 71 cars, but had a total of 8 SD 40 types, including two red barn. We see it coming around the big curve at MP 231.

Barn leads
Description:
CPs SD40-2F units, the "red barns," were a common sight on this part of the railroad for several years, and it was always a treat to get one in the lead. Todays 167 is todays treat, as it readies for a trip west with 71 cars.
