One frosty morn |
Description: |
A pair of trains at the north end of Gentry on a day where the ice had formed on all the trees, making for a pretty photo, but somewhat hazardous driving. Fortunately, most of these events dont last long. The railroad, regardless of the weather, just keeps going. |

Another day, another local |
Description: |
Actually, the same local, just in a different location. I caught todays dodger out of Watts at Davidson Rd north of Siloam in a spring like setting with the same power as yesterdays train. The power will be switched out over the weekend, when it goes to Heavener for servicing. |

New view |
Description: |
The US 59 widening project has meant some serious tree and brush clearing. One place that got it was the area around Chewey Rd, between MP 238 and 239. Prior to the project, it was treed in. Now its wide open, creating a shot I had wished existed for years. Here we have a southbound H train approaching the curve, and the following two shots as it makes its way through. This was taken right from the shoulder of US 59. |

MP 237 |
Description: |
As the KCS goes south, it turns so that the tracks face southwest, then turn south through a sweeping curve at MP 237. Its adjacent to US 59, and an easy spot to work. The train starts south through the curve, making for a beautifully lit shot. |
