RF 7 |
Description: |
RF 7 was a daytime train that was a maid of all work on the west end. It started at Fresh Pond, taking cars to Yard A at Sunnyside, then worked out to the Island, most typically on the Atlantic Branch and the near south shore, but could also work the Main Line, such as it is doing here at Mineola with a short train. Usually it got a pair of C 420's; today's edition has a single MP 15. |

Lite RF 7 |
Description: |
RF 7 was a catch all train that worked whatever needed to be done on the west end, and could be found anywhere. Today its headed east past Bellerose on the main line with a C420 and MP15, probably to handle a customer switch somewhere fairly close. |
