New Haven bound |
Description: |
SENH, the Selkirk-New Haven train took several routes over its existence. One incarnation was to take the Boston Line to Springfield, then south on Amtraks Conn River line to Cedar Hill. We see it about to top out on Washington Hill, its 68 cars behind a trio of the usual GEs. |

Cant get this now |
Description: |
For one thing, Conrail, which replaced the Erie Lackawanna here, is itself now a long ago memory. The trees that are saplings in this photo, are now grown up, blocking the view of the half dozen or so trains that now run here each week. OIBU passes with 39 cars, and will be in Binghamton in about 30 minutes. |
