OIBU down the Delaware |
Description: |
OIBU rolls 45 cars on the former Erie Delaware division at Hankins. In another 25 years, NS will paint an ES44AC just like this C30-7A. So is this a "pre heritage" unit?? |

Over on the CNJ |
Description: |
This 39 car eastbound was running on the former CNJ through Bethlehem, see passing JU tower. Im picturing baby face Baldwins, or red baron SD 35s here. |

New Haven bound |
Description: |
SENH, the Selkirk-New Haven train took several routes over its existence. One incarnation was to take the Boston Line to Springfield, then south on Amtraks Conn River line to Cedar Hill. We see it about to top out on Washington Hill, its 68 cars behind a trio of the usual GEs. |

Coming from New Haven |
Description: |
NHSE had a couple of routings over the years. For a while it was running south on the Hudson Line to Beacon, then the old New Haven Maybrook line to Cedar Hill. Most of the time it ran via Springfield and the Berkshires, such as this one topping the Berkshire summit with 80 cars in tow behind an unusual leader, as this was almost exclusively GE country for road power. |
