Everything but the kitchen sink |
Description: |
The 1990s and into the new millenium was+an interesting time for motive power on the CP. They acquired a lot of second hand power and rebuilt some units. This 271 at Belden tunnel is a case in point. The leader?? Used. CP never had any SD45s. The secondunit is a rebuilt GP 9, the third unit is an ex MP SD40-2 that was originally one of their general service units and di not have dynamic brakes. CP added them while whey were on lease from GATX, then bought them. The white SD40-2 is ex KCS. Quite a mix |
