Local with a pair of little Belles
Title:  Local with a pair of little Belles
Description:  Two Belle painted 4 axle units bracket a gray GP 40 on todays edition of the Watts based dodger, seen here from Kenwood St as it works Pipelife Jetstream. Pipelife gets covered hoppers full of plastic pellets to make PVC pipe. The tanks behind the power are vegetable oil, most likely going to Little Debbie in Gentry. Bring on the oatmeal creme pies!!

Hiding in the rushes
Title:  Hiding in the rushes
Description:  Sounds rather Mosaic, doesnt it?? The L 102 dodger is working Pipelife in Siloam Springs as I approach on Kenwood St. Its a grab shot from the car, but I like it.

Look away
Title:  Look away
Description:  The dodger spends a lot of time pulling up and shoving back at Pipelife, and an awful lot of time standing still. I caught one of those moments from the US 412 overpass, looking down on a former CN widecab, now repainted into the Belle scheme. Looks good on that nose.

Over the top
Title:  Over the top
Description:  The dodger comes over the short grade south of Decatur with 13 cars after working the Simmons Foods plant just north of town. Road trains often struggle here, as the grade is rather stiff, even if short. This job with three units on a short train, marched right over the top.

Little Debbie
Title:  Little Debbie
Description:  One of the primary customers on this job is McKee Foods. If that name doesnt sound familiar, you probably know them by their product: Little Debbie Cakes. They have a plant in Gentry that receives a variety of ingredients by rail. The dodger can spend a fair amount of time here. I caught it late in the day, just as the light was going.
