I was outside working in the yard-the way a lot of these chases start-and heard a horn. Off I went, though not realizing I had a northbound as well, that had met this train at Siloam. He hit the detector north of town as I was getting underway. I ran through town, and beat it down 65 MPH US 59, catching what turned out to be this TXUX train headed for Texas as it passed some otherwise disinterested cattle. |

The coal train rolls past MP 252, just to the left of the train. I was hoping to find some Branford pear trees, which are in glorious bloom right now, but it seems there are no flowering trees near the tracks. Oh well. |
