The Heavener Sub is well known for its up and down profile, but there is one short rise that is not enough to get any attention, but it really poses a challenge to a heavy train. Were at MP 219, just south of Decatur, as a 125 car TXUX coal train pulls south, very slowly, over the top of the short grade here. |

Passing the Holiday Express |
| Description: |
A northbound empty coal train with BNSF power passes the Holiday Express on the siding at Stilwell. KCS kept the siding open to run freights during the Christmas trains visit, and several came through while we were there. |
