OIBU must have had a unit go down somewhere, as it was very unusual to see a single unit on this train, which, though car count could vary widely, usually ran upwards of 75 cars. Todays effort has but one C30-7A to get it to at least Gang Mills, where hopefully it will get a companion for the rest of the trip. |

Gloomy day, high water |
| Description: |
Another day, another day of rain. The spring of 1991 was so bad we just went out and shot trains anyway, since wed never see anything if we waited for sunny days. The excessive precipitation is showing in the adjacent Susquehanna, the water getting close to the top of the banks, putting a lot of trees in the river. Today's 51 car OIBU will manage to stay out of the drink. |
