Street running |
Description: |
Almost. The right of way was actually separated by a concrete curb. We see WAIT 2 working through town with one car for Cargill, much to the relief of local drivers, who are used to seeing 90 car coal trains go past at 10 MPH. This train will likely return with several dozen salt cars, a typical move. |

Stacks past the station |
Description: |
Conrail as a rule would run trains away from the platforms for obvious reasons. Sometimes they found it necessary to run a train in the platform track, and it was quite impressive to see a stack train rolling past your nose, such as this one on a rainy Monday. |

TV train west |
Description: |
In September of 1996, while driving for JB Hunt, I made a delivery to a customer in Cleveland. Their dock was adjacent to the former PRR Cleveland Line, which afforded me a pretty good view of the action. Here we see a westbound TV train approaching Cleveland on the ex PRR. |
