The smokestack in the background is the power plant for the state hospital, once an Erie and EL customer. The track used to unload the coal that fired it is still in place next to Court St, but now heavily overgrown. |

One of the primary van and mail trains to the east coast was TV 12. It had once run via the ex PRR, but by the mid 90s it had been moved to the Chicago Line. Here it is approaching the Dewitt Amtrak station whth 35 stack platforms and 69 TOFC. |
