Description:
The FL 9s still had over 20 years left in them at this point, though it was apparent that they would not last forever. It was worth spending and afternoon watching the rush hour to see these distinctive units, such as this pair headed for Danbury with new Bombardier cars.

These cars are the Bomb
Description:
Bomardier!!! As the hand me down cars of the streamliner era bit the dust, it was apparent they would need to be replaced. The answer was a fleet of cars built by Bombardier in Vermont. Here we see a set behind the New Haven painted FL 9s, a cab car on the rear passing through Woodlawn.
