Description:
This 166 rolls around the big curve at MP 230 alongside NY 17C, about 20 miles out of Binghamton with 71 cars, among them a sizeable block of containers. The train will get worked at Binghamton, some of it going to Oak Island as 166, some to Philadelphia as 164.

Easy morning shot
Description:
From my house in Campville, I could usually hear eastbounds blowing for the crossings on the east side of Owego, making it possible to get to Kinney Rd for a shot. The view was well lit-when the sun was out-and the hillside in the background made a nice backdrop. We see train 166 rolling east behind a SOO leader.
