The leader is one of the relatively new GP39-2's, the first new power D&H bought that was not built by Alco, which had gone under in 1969. |

What appears to be some kind of turbine is head out on this southbound, caught by my friend Jerry from the NY 7 overpass. GE-Schenectady was a big D&H customer, and it was not uncommon to find such loads on their trains. |
