Kodachrome sky |
Description: |
When I lived in the northeast, we referred to a sky like this as a "Kodachrome sky" due to the bright blue contrasted with the white clouds. It was always a good day when these conditions prevailed, since we had a lot of overcast days there-as long as you didnt get dinked by one of those pretty clouds!! |

Shoulda checked the points |
Description: |
When I came into town, I crossed the MKT, then the MP lines on SR 51. I was looking north for the train, so didnt pay as much attention to the other direction, though I did check the signals. I should have checked the switch points. If I had, I would have seen that the train was lined for the MP, and set up better. I was thinking it would stay on its MKT route-many coal trains do-and had a wonderful shot set up south of the crossing. I still did OK though. Cant win em all. |
