Description:
Coal trains to New England occasionally got western power when they were doing test burns of Powder River coal. This is one of those trains, waiting on the CP crew at QD on the NS at Binghamton. Apparently, someone on the UP is not especially proud of his operation. Note the railfan chase vehicle parked at left.
