I was out working in the yard and heard a horn, which I determined was a northbound from the grind of the power coming up the hill from Watts. As I got into town, I could see a southbound in the siding. Ah, now, choices. I shot the northbound behind a pair of CP units, a relatively short train of 236 axles according to the detector at Davidson Rd. I quickly weighed my options, then heard KCS 4824 call the signal at South Siloam Springs. Belle in the lead, southbound. Easy choice!! |
