Some empty trains get DPUs, some dont. This one had one of the SD70MACs giving it a push. It was working, too. Theres a bit of a grade from here into Gravette. As the engine passed, I could hear it revving as the engineer throttled up. |

The DPU on the empty northbound passes between the signals at Mc Elhany as the train pulls away toward Neosho and the BNSF, ex Frisco crossing. I really should have quit on this guy at Noel, and followed the southbound back, but I dont get up here all that often, and it was still early enough to have good light. I did get a bonus in the Government Lead siding, though, so that was a plus. |
