Past the automatic
Title:  Past the automatic
Description:  The H train rolls south over the hump from Decatur, passing the ABS signal, now lit, as it comes toward me. This spot works in your favor if chasing a heavy train south, as most southbounds are. This one was 106 cars, and even with three ES 44's, it dragged over this short grade south of Decatur. Chasing a northbound on this line can be a challenge, since they are usually well powered for the tonnage of empty coal or grain cars. Loaded southbounds are much less of a challenge, as they work grades out of Sulphur Springs, into Decatur, and again into Siloam.

Downtown
Title:  Downtown
Description:  The H train passes through downtown Gentry, giving an overview of the scene. Curran Feed is on the left, an easily recognizeable feature of downtown. They once had a siding. The station was at left, where there is also a team track, occasionally used to set out bad order cars.
