Description: |
I have long found it interesting how long it takes for a signal to drop once the head end has passed. I get that it depends where the insulated joint is, but sometimes it takes a few cars to get there. When I lived in the Southern Tier of NY, the Conrail line there still had semaphores. That was fun to watch. |
