Taking the siding |
Description: |
We were leaving an appointment in Siloam when we heard a horn in the distance. It turned out to be a northbound empty grain train, which we took off after. We got to Gentry just as he reached the south siding switch. Here is taking the siding while the southbound dodger, returning to Watts, waits on the main. |

Pulled up just in time |
Description: |
Actually, Id have liked to have been there 30 seconds sooner, to get a good oncoming shot, but you cant have everything, I suppose. Dodger L 102 rolls past Jefferson St just as I pulled up to the crossing. |

Coming home |
Description: |
The dodger, L 102, pauses by the Watts yard office before yarding his train. I heard the train blowing for the crossings in Siloam Springs, headed down here to see this view. It would be the first of three trains this afternoon, though the next one would be a while. |
