Description:
I had gone up to the transfer station, w`ich is adjacent to the Lincoln Av crossing, to dump some wood from a recent project. As I was getting done, I heard a southbound blowing for the crossing. Dont kPow why, but for some reason, I cant hear the trains blowing for Country Club, or Davidson Rd from the dump. So I was caught off guard. The train, a Q KCNL, was moving slowly, onhy about 10 MPH. I went in and paid, then took off through the back side of town, beating him to the US 412 overpass, which is what hes approaching in this photo.*Note the trees to the right of the train. Only a few years ago, they were not tall enough to block the view of the Allen Canning building, which is behind them, now used by ProPak as a warehouse.
