The Old Dominion Chapter marked their 150th trip on this date. The gent on the left, in white shirt and blue hat, shaking hands, is Jim Bistline, who managed Southerns steam program for many years. I had a chance to chat with him for a few moments, and thank him for all his work bringing steam to those of us "youngsters" who missed it in regular service. Very nice man. |
