I had taken recycing up to the roll offs, and was looking around to see if anything was up. I heard a hi rail truck get track and time from Watts to Gentry, then a half hour later give it up. I went to Gentry to see if there was something waiting. Id just parked near the crossing, when the gates started down. This was the shot I grabbed from the car, a southbound oil train. |

On Baron Fork Creek |

As usual, I got right out of Baron and headed to the spot where US 59 and the KCS crossed Baron Fork Creek. I typically have enough time to set up the shot, and today was no exception. Two CP units and the BNSF unit the train came with enter the through truss. |

The clouds were moving in, and there was no meet here. Time to head home. I like it better when there's a meet here, as it gives me another train to follow home, but it's not in the cards today. It was a good chase. |
