Gaining on him
Description:
I was driving north on Wis 35 trying to catch this westbound sand train that had passed me in Prairie du Chien, and had about caught him. I dont get to this part of Wisconsin but every couple of years, so of course the weather is dismal. We see a pair of GEs across one of the many side channels of the Mississippi, one still in warbonnet in a view from the side window of my Winnebago. Interestingly, the BNSF 777 is not the first unit of that number I have seen here. I shot SOO 777 across the river leading west in June 1987.

Caught him
Description:
I was trying to get a shot across the water, but this was the best I could go, given that I was coming to a speed restriction on the road, so took this. Nice place to watch and photograph trains, but I need to come here when the weather is better, and I can spend some time.
