It must have been a lackluster year for snow in the Southern Tier(average is around 90" in a season) as the Chemung River is quite low for this time of year as OIBU rolls its 90 cars across with a couple of off line units helping out.

Run through power
Description:
NS power would sometimes turn up on OIBU, probably after Conrail borrowed it at Enola. It would run to Buffalo, getting turned back to NS there. A pair of NS units trail this OIBU passing the model railroad buildings at Waverly. In a few months, Guilford would put the D&H in bankruptcy and cut it loose. NS would assist in the directed service, and NS power would be a daily event on the Tier.
