Meeting the dodger
Title:  Meeting the dodger
Description:  In this case, its not Don Drysdale. The southbound grain train is passing the local, in the hole at Gentry, waiting for the grainer to clear so they can get back to work.

Three for one
Title:  Three for one
Description:  The dodger comes back from Cobb with a single car behind its three units, and unusual combination of three GP 38-2's, two of them non dynamic brake. Makes for some overpowering, but there's more train to pick up from the siding, then head for Watts.

Morning view
Title:  Morning view
Description:  I dont get out in the morning much-just not my time of day-but I was out this day and caught a southbound 47 car H train a few miles north of Westville, near a location the railroad calls Hudson. Three local units are behind the road power, en route to Heavener for servicing. Its a nice view, better than the west side of the tracks. Have to do this more.

Climbing into town
Title:  Climbing into town
Description:  The southbound H train has come around the curve at the north end of Stilwell, and is now climbing the short grade to the north end of the siding. Its not too much of a struggle with todays short 47 car train. The three trailing units are en route to Heavener for servicing, and are not on line.

Halloween treat
Title:  Halloween treat
Description:  The dodger has just finished at Cobb in Siloam Springs and is heading south. I usually go home from work this way, just in case I see a train. This Halloween I got a treat-caught the local, and had a Belle repaint leading. Better than a Three Musketeers!!
