CP 167 rolls 101 cars under the signals at Johnson, while 41T waits out of the photo at right. This was West BD on EL and for the first dozen or so years of Conrail. NS has installed new PTC compatible signals, as well as single tracking the line from here to Owego. The track in the foreground is the Vestal Spur, once the DLW main to Buffalo, and at this date-June 2016-with a clouded future. |

And its right next to a grade crossing. This small wetland is adjacent to the Goodrich Settlement Rd crossing, abound a mile or so west of Owego. Good spot all year, but hard to park since theres no shoulder. Were looking at CP train 167 rolling west with 101 cars. |
