Old classics
Title:  Old classics
Description:  There were still some holdovers from the distant past on the equipment roster, and once in a while one or two would show up. Here we see a succession of sorts, with a PRR hopper still in pretty good paint with a PC car next to it. They were on a UNL coal train to NYSEGs Ludlowville plant, north of Ithaca. Conrail cars after the merger would use the PC number series, though the EL hoppers from 1973 would keep their numbers til retirement(I think there are still a few in MOW service on NS); as far as I know, none were renumbered.
