We were headed to breakfast one morning last week, and got up into town to find this empty northbound train rolling through, with a whopping six units. We got around it, beating it to Gentry. MOW was working on the main, so he was routed through the siding, which helped our chase. |

We had just left Callahans in Siloam when we heard a horn. A quick turn revealed a southbound approaching. I wasnt fast enough to get this 262 off the US 412 overpass, but did get it at Lake Frances Rd with a KCSM leader. Behind him was 59 freight a mid train DPU, and ten auto racks. |

I notice the trucks on tank cars, among others, often carry the reporting marks of the cars they are carrying. I wonder how often they get separated from their assigned cars. This one was on a 261 train. |
