Description:  The new SD70s are numbered 70-71-72, but there was a short fling with 6 axle Alcos in the late 90s, when this ex CP unit was acquired. It was not well received and stayed on the roster only a short while. Here it is at Springdale late on a May afternoon

Description:  In 1987 it was still common to see six axle MLWs on many road train. This eastbound at the end of the day is passing Dorval with three in this four unit set-the second unit a four axle MLW, trailing a good size 119 car train.

Description:  This set of power was being turned by the crew at Bayview and is now returning to its train. There were three big Ms and a wide cab GP 40. I guess they wanted to ride in the EMD. After the move, CN 9626 was the leader west.

Description:  Train 390 rolls east along Watson Blvd in Endwell behind an SD40 and a pair of 6 axle MLWs. This was an unusual consist, as these trains originated in Minneapolis and usually got SOO power. Today's train is short for a 390, with only 60 cars.
